Welcome
Welcome to the site of the South Central Region of the Design Build Institute of America. The South Central Region is one of 16 regions of the DBIA. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, the regional office serves Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, planning and implementing local programs that focus on members and other industry players in the built environment.
Our primary goal is to promote the use of design-build delivery by advocating the benefits to owners through education, case study examples, and resources. Another important goal is to help our members by providing education on the successful practices of design-build delivery. This is done through both local programs and facilitating the DBIA DESIGN-BUILD EDUCATION TOUR at stops in our region. We also serve as a networking center to connect owners, design-builders, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
We have continually grown our membership since our region was founded in 2001, and hope you will consider joining. Membership is managed through the national office of the DBIA, and there is no additional cost to be connected to our region. Please visit www.dbia.org to join.
